Navazos Palazzi Vermut Rojo

Equipo Navazos and Nicolas Palazzi, in their continuous quest to offer extraordinary products to wine and spirits connoisseurs, present Navazos Palazzi Vermut Rojo.

This base of this vermouth is Oloroso Sherry which aged for over five years in oak barrels. The botanicals include wormwood, savory, coriander, licorice, elderflower, juniper, bitter orange peel, and grapefruit peel – all of which can be found growing wild in the fields and mountains of Andalusia.

The base wine is blended with concentrated grape must for sweetness before being fortified to 17.5% with neutral grape spirit. Individually macerated botanical extracts are blended in specific proportions to achieve the desired flavor profile.

Navazos-Palazzi is collaboration between Nicolas Palazzi, founder of PM Spirits, and Jesús Barquín and Eduardo Ojeda, founders of Equipo Navazos. In their quest to offer wine and spirits connoisseurs a chance to taste the truly exquisite, they source fine spirits and age them in freshly-emptied Sherry casks. Bottlings have included rum, grain and malt whiskies of various origin, gin, brandy, and now a vermouth using extremely high quality oloroso sherry as a base.
