Maurin Quina

Since 1884, Maurin Quina has been produced by macerating Morello cherries, cinchona, almonds, and lemon zest with high quality wine fortified with cherry brandy.

Slightly bitter and lightly fruity, Maurin Quina is as enjoyable over ice with a citrus twist as it is in a cocktail along with gin, vodka, or whatever base spirit feels right. At 16% abv it plays well with other ingredients without stealing the show.

The flavor profile is cherry-laced marzipan with notes of apricot, anise, vanilla, white tea, and tonic.

For easy plug-and-play applications, substitute it where you'd normally use maraschino liqueur, sweet vermouth, Aperol, or Dubonnet.
